Appletun (Pokédex #0842) is a Grass/Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 8. It is officially classified as the Apple Nectar Pokémon. Eating a sweet apple caused its evolution. A nectarous scent wafts from its body, luring in the bug Pokémon it preys on.
As a Grass/Dragon-type POKEMON, Appletun has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Ice — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Poison, Flying, Bug, Dragon, Fairy moves. It resists Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.
