Hydrapple (Pokédex #1019) is a Grass/Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 9. It is officially classified as the Apple Hydra Pokémon. Seven syrpents live inside an apple made of syrup. The syrpent in the center is the commander.
As a Grass/Dragon-type POKEMON, Hydrapple has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Ice — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Poison, Flying, Bug, Dragon, Fairy moves. It resists Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.
Hydrapple's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 540 (very strong). Full distribution: HP 106 · ATK 80 · DEF 110 · SP.ATK 120 · SP.DEF 80 · SPD 44. Its standout stat is SP.ATK (120), which makes it best suited for special offense roles. Its abilities are Supersweet syrup, Regenerator, Sticky hold, with Sticky hold as its hidden ability.

Hydrapple is part of the Applin → Flapple → Appletun → Dipplin → Hydrapple evolution line (5-stage). Hydrapple is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
