Taillow

Taillow (Pokédex #0276) is a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Tiny Swallow Pokémon. TAILLOW courageously stands its ground against foes, however strong they may be. This gutsy POKéMON will remain defiant even after a loss. On the other hand, it cries loudly if it becomes hungry.

As a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON, Taillow has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Ice, Rock moves. Conversely, Taillow is completely immune to Ground and Ghost — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.

Taillow's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 270 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 40 · ATK 55 · DEF 30 · SP.ATK 30 · SP.DEF 30 · SPD 85. Its standout stat is SPD (85), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Guts, Scrappy, with Scrappy as its hidden ability.

Taillow stands 0.3 m (12") tall and weighs 2.3 kg (5.1 lbs). It is typically found in Grassland environments. Capture rate: 200/255 (very easy to catch). Growth rate: Medium Slow. Egg groups: Flying.

Taillow is part of the Taillow → Swellow evolution line (2-stage). Taillow is the base form and can evolve into Swellow via Level 22.
