Magnezone (Pokédex #0462) is a Electric/Steel-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Magnet Area Pokémon. It evolved from exposure to a special magnetic field. Three units generate magnetism.
As a Electric/Steel-type POKEMON, Magnezone has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Ground — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Fire, Fighting moves. Conversely, Magnezone is completely immune to Poison — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Normal, Electric, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.
