Larvesta (Pokédex #0636) is a Bug/Fire-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 5. It is officially classified as the Torch Pokémon. This Pokémon was believed to have been born from the sun. When it evolves, its entire body is engulfed in flames.
As a Bug/Fire-type POKEMON, Larvesta has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Rock — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Water, Flying moves. It resists Ice, Fighting, Bug, Steel, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.
