Inkay

Inkay (Pokédex #0686) is a Dark/Psychic-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 6. It is officially classified as the Revolving Pokémon. Opponents who stare at the flashing of the light-emitting spots on its body become dazed and lose their will to fight.

As a Dark/Psychic-type POKEMON, Inkay has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Bug — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Fairy moves. Conversely, Inkay is completely immune to Psychic — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power.

Inkay's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 288 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 53 · ATK 54 · DEF 53 · SP.ATK 37 · SP.DEF 46 · SPD 45. Its standout stat is ATK (54), which makes it best suited for physical offense roles. Its abilities are Contrary, Suction cups, Infiltrator, with Infiltrator as its hidden ability.

Inkay is part of the Inkay → Malamar evolution line (2-stage). Inkay is the base form and can evolve into Malamar via Level 30.
