Yamask

Yamask (Pokédex #0562) is a Ghost-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 5. It is officially classified as the Spirit Pokémon. Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.

As a Ghost-type POKEMON, Yamask has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ghost, Dark moves. Conversely, Yamask is completely immune to Normal and Fighting — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Poison, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.

Yamask's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 303 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 38 · ATK 30 · DEF 85 · SP.ATK 55 · SP.DEF 65 · SPD 30. Its standout stat is DEF (85), which makes it best suited for physical defense roles. Its abilities are Mummy.

Yamask stands 0.5 m (20") tall and weighs 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs). Capture rate: 190/255 (easy to catch). Growth rate: Medium. Egg groups: Mineral, Indeterminate.

Yamask is part of the Yamask → Cofagrigus → Runerigus evolution line (3-stage). Yamask is the base form and can evolve into Cofagrigus via Level 34.
