Wooper

Wooper (Pokédex #0194) is a Water/Ground-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 2. It is officially classified as the Water Fish Pokémon. This POKéMON lives in cold water. It will leave the water to search for food when it gets cold outside.

As a Water/Ground-type POKEMON, Wooper has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Grass — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. Conversely, Wooper is completely immune to Electric — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Fire, Poison, Rock, Steel moves, taking only half damage from them.

Wooper is part of the Wooper → Quagsire → Clodsire evolution line (3-stage). Wooper is the base form and can evolve into Quagsire via Level 20.
