Tyrunt (Pokédex #0696) is a Rock/Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 6. It is officially classified as the Royal Heir Pokémon. This Pokémon was restored from a fossil. If something happens that it doesn’t like, it throws a tantrum and runs wild.

As a Rock/Dragon-type POKEMON, Tyrunt has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ice, Fighting, Ground, Dragon, Steel, Fairy moves. It resists Normal, Electric, Poison, Flying moves, taking only half damage from them.

Tyrunt is part of the Tyrunt → Tyrantrum evolution line (2-stage). Tyrunt is the base form and can evolve into Tyrantrum via Level 39.
