Shuppet

Shuppet (Pokédex #0353) is a Ghost-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Puppet Pokémon. SHUPPET is attracted by feelings of jealousy and vindictiveness. If someone develops strong feelings of vengeance, this POKéMON will appear in a swarm and line up beneath the eaves of that person’s home.

As a Ghost-type POKEMON, Shuppet has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ghost, Dark moves. Conversely, Shuppet is completely immune to Normal and Fighting — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Poison, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.

Shuppet's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 295 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 44 · ATK 75 · DEF 35 · SP.ATK 63 · SP.DEF 33 · SPD 45. Its standout stat is ATK (75), which makes it best suited for physical offense roles. Its abilities are Insomnia, Frisk, Cursed body, with Cursed body as its hidden ability.

Shuppet is part of the Shuppet → Banette evolution line (2-stage). Shuppet is the base form and can evolve into Banette via Level 37.
