Shelgon

Shelgon (Pokédex #0372) is a Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Endurance Pokémon. Inside SHELGON’s armor-like shell, cells are in the midst of transformation to create an entirely new body. This POKéMON’s shell is extremely heavy, making its movements sluggish.

As a Dragon-type POKEMON, Shelgon has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ice, Dragon, Fairy moves. It resists Fire, Water, Electric, Grass moves, taking only half damage from them.

Shelgon's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 420 (solid). Full distribution: HP 65 · ATK 95 · DEF 100 · SP.ATK 60 · SP.DEF 50 · SPD 50. Its standout stat is DEF (100), which makes it best suited for physical defense roles. Its abilities are Rock head, Overcoat, with Overcoat as its hidden ability.

Shelgon stands 1.1 m (43") tall and weighs 110.5 kg (243.6 lbs). It is typically found in Rough Terrain environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Slow. Egg groups: Dragon.
