Scraggy

Scraggy (Pokédex #0559) is a Dark/Fighting-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 5. It is officially classified as the Shedding Pokémon. Its skin has a rubbery elasticity, so it can reduce damage by defensively pulling its skin up to its neck.

As a Dark/Fighting-type POKEMON, Scraggy has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Fairy — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Fighting, Flying moves. Conversely, Scraggy is completely immune to Psychic — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Rock, Ghost moves, taking only half damage from them.

Scraggy's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 348 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 50 · ATK 75 · DEF 70 · SP.ATK 35 · SP.DEF 70 · SPD 48. Its standout stat is ATK (75), which makes it best suited for physical offense roles. Its abilities are Shed skin, Moxie, Intimidate, with Intimidate as its hidden ability.

Scraggy is part of the Scraggy → Scrafty evolution line (2-stage). Scraggy is the base form and can evolve into Scrafty via Level 39.
