Rhyperior (Pokédex #0464) is a Ground/Rock-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Drill Pokémon. It puts rocks in holes in its palms and uses its muscles to shoot them. GEODUDE are shot at rare times.
As a Ground/Rock-type POKEMON, Rhyperior has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Water and Grass — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Ice, Fighting, Ground, Steel moves. Conversely, Rhyperior is completely immune to Electric — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Normal, Fire, Flying, Rock moves, taking only half damage from them.
