Poltchageist (Pokédex #1012) is a Grass/Ghost-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 9. It is officially classified as the Matcha Pokémon. Supposedly, the regrets of a tea ceremony master who died before perfecting his craft lingered in some matcha and became a Pokémon.
As a Grass/Ghost-type POKEMON, Poltchageist has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Ice, Flying, Ghost, Dark moves. Conversely, Poltchageist is completely immune to Normal and Fighting — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Water, Electric, Grass, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.
