Natu

Natu (Pokédex #0177) is a Psychic/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 2. It is officially classified as the Tiny Bird Pokémon. Because its wings aren't yet fully grown, it has to hop to get around. It is always star­ ing at something.

As a Psychic/Flying-type POKEMON, Natu has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Ice, Rock, Ghost, Dark moves. Conversely, Natu is completely immune to Ground — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Psychic moves, taking only half damage from them.

Natu's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 320 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 40 · ATK 50 · DEF 45 · SP.ATK 70 · SP.DEF 45 · SPD 70. Its standout stat is SP.ATK (70), which makes it best suited for special offense roles. Its abilities are Synchronize, Early bird, Magic bounce, with Magic bounce as its hidden ability.

Natu stands 0.2 m (8") tall and weighs 2.0 kg (4.4 lbs). It is typically found in Forest environments. Capture rate: 190/255 (easy to catch). Growth rate: Medium. Egg groups: Flying.

Natu is part of the Natu → Xatu evolution line (2-stage). Natu is the base form and can evolve into Xatu via Level 25.
