Manaphy

Manaphy (Pokédex #0490) is a Water-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Seafaring Pokémon. Born on a cold seafloor, it will swim great distances to return to its birthplace.

As a Water-type POKEMON, Manaphy has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Grass moves. It resists Fire, Water, Ice, Steel moves, taking only half damage from them.

Manaphy's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 600 (exceptional — pseudo-legendary tier). Full distribution: HP 100 · ATK 100 · DEF 100 · SP.ATK 100 · SP.DEF 100 · SPD 100. Its standout stat is HP (100), which makes it best suited for bulk and endurance roles. Its abilities are Hydration.

Growth rate: Slow. Egg groups: Water1, Fairy. Manaphy is a Mythical POKEMON — typically only available through special event distributions.

Manaphy is part of the Phione → Manaphy evolution line (2-stage). Manaphy is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
