Grotle (Pokédex #0388) is a Grass-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Grove Pokémon. It knows where pure water wells up. It carries fellow Pokémon there on its back.

As a Grass-type POKEMON, Grotle has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug moves. It resists Water, Electric, Grass, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.
