About Greninja
Greninja (Pokédex #0658) is a Water/Dark-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 6. It is officially classified as the Ninja Pokémon. It creates throwing stars out of compressed water. When it spins them and throws them at high speed, these stars can split metal in two.
As a Water/Dark-type POKEMON, Greninja has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Grass, Fighting, Bug, Fairy moves. Conversely, Greninja is completely immune to Psychic — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Fire, Water, Ice, Ghost, Dark, Steel moves, taking only half damage from them.
Greninja's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 530 (very strong). Full distribution: HP 72 · ATK 95 · DEF 67 · SP.ATK 103 · SP.DEF 71 · SPD 122. Its standout stat is SPD (122), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Torrent, Protean, with Protean as its hidden ability.
