Goomy

Goomy (Pokédex #0704) is a Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 6. It is officially classified as the Soft Tissue Pokémon. The weakest Dragon-type Pokémon, it lives in damp, shady places, so its body doesn’t dry out.

As a Dragon-type POKEMON, Goomy has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ice, Dragon, Fairy moves. It resists Fire, Water, Electric, Grass moves, taking only half damage from them.

Goomy's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 300 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 45 · ATK 50 · DEF 35 · SP.ATK 55 · SP.DEF 75 · SPD 40. Its standout stat is SP.DEF (75), which makes it best suited for special defense roles. Its abilities are Sap sipper, Hydration, Gooey, with Gooey as its hidden ability.

Goomy stands 0.3 m (12") tall and weighs 2.8 kg (6.2 lbs). Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Slow. Egg groups: Dragon.

Goomy is part of the Goomy → Sliggoo → Goodra evolution line (3-stage). Goomy is the base form and can evolve into Sliggoo via Level 40.
