Flygon

Flygon (Pokédex #0330) is a Ground/Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Mystic Pokémon. FLYGON is nicknamed “the elemental spirit of the desert.” Because its flapping wings whip up a cloud of sand, this POKéMON is always enveloped in a sandstorm while flying.

As a Ground/Dragon-type POKEMON, Flygon has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Ice — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Dragon, Fairy moves. Conversely, Flygon is completely immune to Electric — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Fire, Poison, Rock moves, taking only half damage from them.

Flygon's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 520 (very strong). Full distribution: HP 80 · ATK 100 · DEF 80 · SP.ATK 80 · SP.DEF 80 · SPD 100. Its standout stat is ATK (100), which makes it best suited for physical offense roles. Its abilities are Levitate.

Flygon stands 2.0 m (79") tall and weighs 82.0 kg (180.8 lbs). It is typically found in Rough Terrain environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Medium Slow. Egg groups: Bug, Dragon.

Flygon is part of the Trapinch → Vibrava → Flygon evolution line (3-stage). Flygon is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
