Dugtrio

Dugtrio (Pokédex #0051) is a Ground-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 1. It is officially classified as the Mole Pokémon. A team of DIGLETT triplets. It triggers huge earthquakes by burrowing 60 miles underground.

As a Ground-type POKEMON, Dugtrio has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Water, Grass, Ice moves. Conversely, Dugtrio is completely immune to Electric — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Poison, Rock moves, taking only half damage from them.

Dugtrio's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 425 (solid). Full distribution: HP 35 · ATK 100 · DEF 50 · SP.ATK 50 · SP.DEF 70 · SPD 120. Its standout stat is SPD (120), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Sand veil, Arena trap, Sand force, with Sand force as its hidden ability.

Dugtrio stands 0.7 m (28") tall and weighs 33.3 kg (73.4 lbs). It is typically found in Cave environments. Capture rate: 50/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Medium. Egg groups: Ground.

Dugtrio is part of the Diglett → Dugtrio evolution line (2-stage). Dugtrio is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
