Dratini

Dratini (Pokédex #0147) is a Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 1. It is officially classified as the Dragon Pokémon. Long considered a mythical POKéMON until recently when a small colony was found living underwater.

As a Dragon-type POKEMON, Dratini has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ice, Dragon, Fairy moves. It resists Fire, Water, Electric, Grass moves, taking only half damage from them.

Dratini's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 300 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 41 · ATK 64 · DEF 45 · SP.ATK 50 · SP.DEF 50 · SPD 50. Its standout stat is ATK (64), which makes it best suited for physical offense roles. Its abilities are Shed skin, Marvel scale, with Marvel scale as its hidden ability.

Dratini stands 1.8 m (71") tall and weighs 3.3 kg (7.3 lbs). It is typically found in Waters Edge environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Slow. Egg groups: Water1, Dragon.

Dratini is part of the Dratini → Dragonair → Dragonite evolution line (3-stage). Dratini is the base form and can evolve into Dragonair via Level 30.
