About Charmander
Charmander (Pokédex #0004) is a Fire-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 1. It is officially classified as the Lizard Pokémon. Obviously prefers hot places. When it rains, steam is said to spout from the tip of its tail.
As a Fire-type POKEMON, Charmander has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Water, Ground, Rock moves. It resists Fire, Grass, Ice, Bug, Steel, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.

Charmander is part of the Charmander → Charmeleon → Charizard evolution line (3-stage). Charmander is the base form and can evolve into Charmeleon via Level 16.
