Armaldo

Armaldo (Pokédex #0348) is a Rock/Bug-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Plate Pokémon. ARMALDO’s tough armor makes all attacks bounce off. This POKéMON’s two enormous claws can be freely extended or contracted. They have the power to punch right through a steel slab.

As a Rock/Bug-type POKEMON, Armaldo has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Water, Rock, Steel moves. It resists Normal, Poison moves, taking only half damage from them.

Its standout stat is ATK (125), which makes it best suited for physical offense roles. Its abilities are Battle armor, Swift swim, with Swift swim as its hidden ability.

Armaldo stands 1.5 m (59") tall and weighs 68.2 kg (150.4 lbs). It is typically found in Waters Edge environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Slow Then Very Fast. Egg groups: Water3.

Armaldo is part of the Anorith → Armaldo evolution line (2-stage). Armaldo is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
