Amaura

Amaura (Pokédex #0698) is a Rock/Ice-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 6. It is officially classified as the Tundra Pokémon. This ancient Pokémon was restored from part of its body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years.

As a Rock/Ice-type POKEMON, Amaura has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Fighting and Steel — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Water, Grass, Ground, Rock moves. It resists Normal, Ice, Poison, Flying moves, taking only half damage from them.

Amaura is part of the Amaura → Aurorus evolution line (2-stage). Amaura is the base form and can evolve into Aurorus via Level 39.
