Scatterbug (Pokédex #0664) is a Bug-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 6. It is officially classified as the Scatterdust Pokémon. When under attack from bird Pokémon, it spews a poisonous black powder that causes paralysis on contact.
As a Bug-type POKEMON, Scatterbug has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Flying, Rock moves. It resists Grass, Fighting, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.
