Carracosta (Pokédex #0565) is a Water/Rock-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 5. It is officially classified as the Prototurtle Pokémon. They can live both in the ocean and on land. A slap from one of them is enough to open a hole in the bottom of a tanker.
As a Water/Rock-type POKEMON, Carracosta has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Grass — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Electric, Fighting, Ground moves. It resists Normal, Ice, Poison, Flying moves, taking only half damage from them.
