Gastrodon (Pokédex #0423) is a Water/Ground-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Sea Slug Pokémon. It has a pliable body without any bones. If any part of its body is torn off, it grows right back.
As a Water/Ground-type POKEMON, Gastrodon has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Grass — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. Conversely, Gastrodon is completely immune to Electric — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Fire, Poison, Rock, Steel moves, taking only half damage from them.
