Shellos

Shellos (Pokédex #0422) is a Water-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Sea Slug Pokémon. Its colors and shapes differ from region to region. In the Sinnoh region, two types are confirmed.

As a Water-type POKEMON, Shellos has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Grass moves. It resists Fire, Water, Ice, Steel moves, taking only half damage from them.

Shellos's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 325 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 76 · ATK 48 · DEF 48 · SP.ATK 57 · SP.DEF 62 · SPD 34. Its standout stat is HP (76), which makes it best suited for bulk and endurance roles. Its abilities are Sticky hold, Storm drain, Sand force, with Sand force as its hidden ability.

Shellos stands 0.3 m (12") tall and weighs 6.3 kg (13.9 lbs). Capture rate: 190/255 (easy to catch). Growth rate: Medium. Egg groups: Water1, Indeterminate.

Shellos is part of the Shellos → Gastrodon evolution line (2-stage). Shellos is the base form and can evolve into Gastrodon via Level 30.
