Kirlia (Pokédex #0281) is a Psychic/Fairy-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Emotion Pokémon. It is said that a KIRLIA that is exposed to the positive emotions of its TRAINER grows beautiful. This POKéMON controls psychokinetic powers with its highly developed brain.

As a Psychic/Fairy-type POKEMON, Kirlia has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Poison, Ghost, Steel moves. Conversely, Kirlia is completely immune to Dragon — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Psychic moves, taking only half damage from them.
