About Wurmple
Wurmple (Pokédex #0265) is a Bug-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Worm Pokémon. Using the spikes on its rear end, WURMPLE peels the bark off trees and feeds on the sap that oozes out. This POKéMON’s feet are tipped with suction pads that allow it to cling to glass without slipping.
As a Bug-type POKEMON, Wurmple has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Flying, Rock moves. It resists Grass, Fighting, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.
