Grovyle

Grovyle (Pokédex #0253) is a Grass-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Wood Gecko Pokémon. The leaves growing out of GROVYLE’s body are convenient for camouflaging it from enemies in the forest. This POKéMON is a master at climbing trees in jungles.

As a Grass-type POKEMON, Grovyle has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug moves. It resists Water, Electric, Grass, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.

Grovyle's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 405 (solid). Full distribution: HP 50 · ATK 65 · DEF 45 · SP.ATK 85 · SP.DEF 65 · SPD 95. Its standout stat is SPD (95), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Overgrow, Unburden, with Unburden as its hidden ability.

Grovyle stands 0.9 m (35") tall and weighs 21.6 kg (47.6 lbs). It is typically found in Forest environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Medium Slow. Egg groups: Monster, Dragon.
