Treecko

Treecko (Pokédex #0252) is a Grass-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Wood Gecko Pokémon. TREECKO has small hooks on the bottom of its feet that enable it to scale vertical walls. This POKéMON attacks by slamming foes with its thick tail.

As a Grass-type POKEMON, Treecko has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug moves. It resists Water, Electric, Grass, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.

Treecko's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 310 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 40 · ATK 45 · DEF 35 · SP.ATK 65 · SP.DEF 55 · SPD 70. Its standout stat is SPD (70), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Overgrow, Unburden, with Unburden as its hidden ability.

Treecko stands 0.5 m (20") tall and weighs 5.0 kg (11.0 lbs). It is typically found in Forest environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Medium Slow. Egg groups: Monster, Dragon.

Treecko is part of the Treecko → Grovyle → Sceptile evolution line (3-stage). Treecko is the base form and can evolve into Grovyle via Level 16.
