Dragonite (Pokédex #0149) is a Dragon/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 1. It is officially classified as the Dragon Pokémon. An extremely rarely seen marine POKéMON. Its intelligence is said to match that of humans.
As a Dragon/Flying-type POKEMON, Dragonite has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Ice — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Rock, Dragon, Fairy moves. Conversely, Dragonite is completely immune to Ground — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Fire, Water, Fighting, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.
