Wattrel (Pokédex #0940) is a Electric/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 9. It is officially classified as the Storm Petrel Pokémon. When its wings catch the wind, the bones within produce electricity. This Pokémon dives into the ocean, catching prey by electrocuting them.

As a Electric/Flying-type POKEMON, Wattrel has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ice, Rock moves. Conversely, Wattrel is completely immune to Ground — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Fighting, Flying, Bug, Steel moves, taking only half damage from them.
