Gastly (Pokédex #0092) is a Ghost/Poison-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 1. It is officially classified as the Gas Pokémon. Almost invisible, this gaseous POKéMON cloaks the target and puts it to sleep without notice.

As a Ghost/Poison-type POKEMON, Gastly has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Ground, Psychic, Ghost, Dark moves. Conversely, Gastly is completely immune to Normal and Fighting — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.
