As a Psychic/Fairy-type POKEMON, Hatterene has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Poison, Ghost, Steel moves. Conversely, Hatterene is completely immune to Dragon — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Psychic moves, taking only half damage from them.
