Coalossal (Pokédex #0839) is a Rock/Fire-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 8. It is officially classified as the Coal Pokémon. It’s usually peaceful, but the vandalism of mines enrages it. Offenders will be incinerated with flames that reach 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit.
As a Rock/Fire-type POKEMON, Coalossal has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It has a 4× weakness to Water and Ground — these moves deal quadruple damage and should always be avoided in battle. It takes double damage from Fighting, Rock moves. It resists Normal, Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.
