Pidove

Pidove (Pokédex #0519) is a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 5. It is officially classified as the Tiny Pigeon Pokémon. Each follows its Trainer’s orders as best it can, but they sometimes fail to understand complicated commands.

As a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON, Pidove has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Ice, Rock moves. Conversely, Pidove is completely immune to Ground and Ghost — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.

Pidove's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 264 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 50 · ATK 55 · DEF 50 · SP.ATK 36 · SP.DEF 30 · SPD 43. Its standout stat is ATK (55), which makes it best suited for physical offense roles. Its abilities are Big pecks, Super luck, Rivalry, with Rivalry as its hidden ability.

Pidove is part of the Pidove → Tranquill → Unfezant evolution line (3-stage). Pidove is the base form and can evolve into Tranquill via Level 21.
