Snivy

Snivy (Pokédex #0495) is a Grass-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 5. It is officially classified as the Grass Snake Pokémon. It is very intelligent and calm. Being exposed to lots of sunlight makes its movements swifter.

As a Grass-type POKEMON, Snivy has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug moves. It resists Water, Electric, Grass, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.

Its standout stat is SPD (63), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Overgrow, Contrary, with Contrary as its hidden ability.

Snivy is part of the Snivy → Servine → Serperior evolution line (3-stage). Snivy is the base form and can evolve into Servine via Level 17.
