Dialga (Pokédex #0483) is a Steel/Dragon-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Temporal Pokémon. It has the power to control time. It appears in Sinnoh-region myths as an ancient deity.

As a Steel/Dragon-type POKEMON, Dialga has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fighting, Ground moves. Conversely, Dialga is completely immune to Poison — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Normal, Water, Electric, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Steel moves, taking only half damage from them.
