Starly

Starly (Pokédex #0396) is a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 4. It is officially classified as the Starling Pokémon. They flock in great numbers. Though small, they flap their wings with great power.

As a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON, Starly has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Ice, Rock moves. Conversely, Starly is completely immune to Ground and Ghost — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.

Starly's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 245 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 40 · ATK 55 · DEF 30 · SP.ATK 30 · SP.DEF 30 · SPD 60. Its standout stat is SPD (60), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Keen eye, Reckless, with Reckless as its hidden ability.

Starly is part of the Starly → Staravia → Staraptor evolution line (3-stage). Starly is the base form and can evolve into Staravia via Level 14.
