Seedot

Seedot (Pokédex #0273) is a Grass-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Acorn Pokémon. SEEDOT attaches itself to a tree branch using the top of its head. It sucks moisture from the tree while hanging off the branch. The more water it drinks, the glossier this POKéMON’s body becomes.

As a Grass-type POKEMON, Seedot has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug moves. It resists Water, Electric, Grass, Ground moves, taking only half damage from them.

Seedot's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 220 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 40 · ATK 40 · DEF 50 · SP.ATK 30 · SP.DEF 30 · SPD 30. Its standout stat is DEF (50), which makes it best suited for physical defense roles. Its abilities are Chlorophyll, Early bird, Pickpocket, with Pickpocket as its hidden ability.

Seedot stands 0.5 m (20") tall and weighs 4.0 kg (8.8 lbs). It is typically found in Forest environments. Capture rate: 255/255 (very easy to catch). Growth rate: Medium Slow. Egg groups: Ground, Plant.

Seedot is part of the Seedot → Nuzleaf → Shiftry evolution line (3-stage). Seedot is the base form and can evolve into Nuzleaf via Level 14.
