Dustox

Dustox (Pokédex #0269) is a Bug/Poison-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Poison Moth Pokémon. DUSTOX is instinctively drawn to light. Swarms of this POKéMON are attracted by the bright lights of cities, where they wreak havoc by stripping the leaves off roadside trees for food.

As a Bug/Poison-type POKEMON, Dustox has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Flying, Psychic, Rock moves. It resists Poison, Bug, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.

Dustox's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 385 (moderate). Full distribution: HP 60 · ATK 50 · DEF 70 · SP.ATK 50 · SP.DEF 90 · SPD 65. Its standout stat is SP.DEF (90), which makes it best suited for special defense roles. Its abilities are Shield dust, Compound eyes, with Compound eyes as its hidden ability.

Dustox stands 1.2 m (47") tall and weighs 31.6 kg (69.7 lbs). It is typically found in Forest environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Medium. Egg groups: Bug.

Dustox is part of the Wurmple → Silcoon → Beautifly → Cascoon → Dustox evolution line (5-stage). Dustox is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
