Torchic

Torchic (Pokédex #0255) is a Fire-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 3. It is officially classified as the Chick Pokémon. TORCHIC sticks with its TRAINER, following behind with unsteady steps. This POKéMON breathes fire of over 1,800 degrees F, including fireballs that leave the foe scorched black.

As a Fire-type POKEMON, Torchic has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Water, Ground, Rock moves. It resists Fire, Grass, Ice, Bug, Steel, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.

Torchic is part of the Torchic → Combusken → Blaziken evolution line (3-stage). Torchic is the base form and can evolve into Combusken via Level 16.
