Smoochum (Pokédex #0238) is a Ice/Psychic-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 2. It is officially classified as the Kiss Pokémon. Its lips are the most sensitive parts on its body. It always uses its lips first to examine things.

As a Ice/Psychic-type POKEMON, Smoochum has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Bug, Rock, Ghost, Dark, Steel moves. It resists Ice, Psychic moves, taking only half damage from them.
