Pidgeot

Pidgeot (Pokédex #0018) is a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 1. It is officially classified as the Bird Pokémon. When hunting, it skims the surface of water at high speed to pick off unwary prey such as MAGIKARP.

As a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON, Pidgeot has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Ice, Rock moves. Conversely, Pidgeot is completely immune to Ground and Ghost — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.

Pidgeot's battle stats: Base Stat Total of 479 (solid). Full distribution: HP 83 · ATK 80 · DEF 75 · SP.ATK 70 · SP.DEF 70 · SPD 101. Its standout stat is SPD (101), which makes it best suited for outspeeding opponents roles. Its abilities are Keen eye, Tangled feet, Big pecks, with Big pecks as its hidden ability.

Pidgeot stands 1.5 m (59") tall and weighs 39.5 kg (87.1 lbs). It is typically found in Forest environments. Capture rate: 45/255 (difficult to catch). Use Ultra Balls with a status condition (Sleep or Paralysis) for the best results. Growth rate: Medium Slow. Egg groups: Flying.

Pidgeot is part of the Pidgey → Pidgeotto → Pidgeot evolution line (3-stage). Pidgeot is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
