Pidgey

Pidgey (Pokédex #0016) is a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 1. It is officially classified as the Tiny Bird Pokémon. A common sight in forests and woods. It flaps its wings at ground level to kick up blinding sand.

As a Normal/Flying-type POKEMON, Pidgey has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Electric, Ice, Rock moves. Conversely, Pidgey is completely immune to Ground and Ghost — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Bug moves, taking only half damage from them.

Pidgey is part of the Pidgey → Pidgeotto → Pidgeot evolution line (3-stage). Pidgey is the base form and can evolve into Pidgeotto via Level 18.
