Gholdengo (Pokédex #1000) is a Steel/Ghost-type POKEMON first introduced in Generation 9. It is officially classified as the Coin Entity Pokémon. Its body seems to be made up of 1,000 coins. This Pokémon gets along well with others and is quick to make friends with anybody.
As a Steel/Ghost-type POKEMON, Gholdengo has a specific set of type matchups that trainers must account for. It takes double damage from Fire, Ground, Ghost, Dark moves. Conversely, Gholdengo is completely immune to Normal and Fighting and Poison — these moves deal zero damage regardless of power. It resists Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Rock, Dragon, Steel, Fairy moves, taking only half damage from them.

Gholdengo is part of the Gimmighoul → Gholdengo evolution line (2-stage). Gholdengo is the final evolved form — the strongest stage of this line.
